A friend of mine shared these with me this morning. I told him I would post later tonight, but I could not wait. How he finds these treasures I will never know. His passion and excitement for books, art and life is like nothing I have ever encountered. It is a pleasure every time we speak and I always look fwd to the next.
These will be added to the Collector's Gallery.

Wow. These are incredible!
Truly amazing. The Fellowship of the Ring proof is in an immaculate condition as well.
Name: The Lord of the Rings
Publisher: Allen and Unwin.
Year: 1966.
Author: J. R. R. Tolkien.
State: Signed and Inscribed by Tolkien to Philip Brown. (5 Tolkien signatures).
Owner: A. L. Smith.
A very rare immaculate 2nd Edition set signed to Philip Brown, with an interesting correspondence between the two, arranging a date to sign his set of books.
Interesting to note that Stephen King signed more times in one day in Paris (Lisey’s Story I believe) than Tolkien signed from 1937 until 1973!!
